Product FAQs
Mead is an alcoholic beverage created by fermenting honey with water and yeast. Unlike beer or wine, its character comes entirely from honey and fermentation. MeadlyBear ferments to 14% ABV for structure and depth — positioning it alongside fine wine rather than casual drinks.
We ferment to 14% ABV to create fuller body, improved pairing flexibility, and premium positioning. It allows the spice and honey profile to develop complexity that you simply cannot achieve at lower strengths. Most meads range 8–11% — we aim higher.
We currently produce two signature meads: Cinnamon Mead (14% ABV, Metheglin-style spiced mead perfect for evening service and rich dishes) and Ginger Mead (14% ABV, dry and invigorating, ideal for seafood and beach occasions).
Yes. Mead is honey-based and does not contain grain, making it naturally gluten-free.
Cinnamon Mead: serve at 12–15°C in a large wine glass. Ginger Mead: serve at 10–12°C in a wine glass or flute.
Cinnamon Mead pairs beautifully with grilled meats, Goan pork, and rich dark desserts. Ginger Mead is excellent alongside fresh seafood, spicy cuisine, and as a sundowner at beach events.
Yes. Given its 14% ABV and quality ingredients, our meads have excellent aging potential. Store bottles horizontally in a cool, dark place (10–15°C).

Yes. Guided tasting and trade visits can be scheduled in advance. Our facility is located at Bethora Industrial Estate, Betora, Goa 403409. Visits are by prior appointment only.

Yes. We offer customized tasting sessions, production tours, and event supply packages for corporate teams, client entertainment, and brand activations.

MeadlyBear is produced at our facility at Bethora Industrial Estate, Betora, Goa 403409. All production is done in-house under controlled conditions.
Yes. No artificial flavoring, no artificial coloring. Ingredients: honey, water, yeast, and natural spices (cinnamon/ginger). Clean label, honest production.
Absolutely. MeadlyBear promotes responsible consumption. Our products are strictly for adults aged 18 and above.
